I just finished Jane Haddam's new book "Dead Letters". Currently it is
only on Amazon as a Kindle book, but will be available later in print.
I enjoyed it immensely. As I've said before, I'm very character-driven
in the books I read. And the people in DL are great characters. From
Georgia Xenakis (the college English teacher), to Trace Shepherd (the
new chief of police), to Josh (the student with an attitude), all the
way down to Ginger (the dog). Try it! You'll like it! And then pass the
recommendation down to friends and neighbors.

This is a new series she's trying out. At least one more title in the
pipeline, I believe.
I'm hoping that if they get enough good feedback, the publisher will go
for more.
